Face It

You aren't honest with yourself. You aren't willing to accept that truth. The truth is that you aren't giving your all. You aren't pushing yourself to your fullest. But it doesn't have to be like that. You don't have to keep lying to yourself. You can drive yourself and take accountability today. You don't have to go through the pain of procrastination. You got to start digging in that wound to clean it truly. You got to pick that mirror up again and see what's really in front of you. Understand that your choices or lack of options have brought you to where you are right now.

But understand that it's never too late. You can decide today that you will hold yourself accountable for doing that thing you said you were going to do. You are going to start loving yourself again by holding yourself responsible for your actions. Here at CreateMyStory, we are going to teach you how to do this in three simple steps.

Step 1

Let it Burn

Just like the Usher song you got, let it burn. Like literally let you must be able to face it that you were wrong in your thinking and that you can change to something greater. It isn't the end of the world to know that you are a piece of work and have some issues that need to be addressed. But, when you can be truthful with yourself, that's how you can finally be broken from those chains. So let it burn, baby, let it burn.

Step 2

Take the Action you Should

It is as simple as it sounds. Just take action you said you were going to take. No matter how tired or whatever poor excuse comes to your head, do it. Would you mind not waiting until you feel like it because the truth is you won't ever consistently feel like it? So if you're consistent, then you feel like it. As weird as it sounds and how simple it seems, action will get you accountability.

Step 3

Work on Mastery

Don't go out there and try to master everything at once. You have finally built the habit of doing. So now, let's take it a step further and focus on actions in a few areas at a time until we master it. When you master something, it builds momentum and confidence. Just take a second to think about it. What is the last thing that you truly mastered? How awesome it feels to know that you have mastered it. Think about some changes in your life that would benefit from mastery. You would probably be a different person right now, wouldn't you?

The absolute worst thing you could do is nothing. But if you want to stop being the bane to your existence, then implement these simple practices.
